If it was possible to give 0 stars, I would. I have had issues with this dealership from the beginning, but got a lot of lip service about their "integrity," their family-owned mentality, and their insistence that they're honest car salesman (I realize that may be an oxymoron, but bear with me). The short story is, I've put nearly $900 into this car since I bought it and will STILL need to put $900 more, and that's after getting what would have been a fair (not excellent) price for the car if it had been in the condition advertised. I don't trust these people as far as I can throw them and wouldn't recommend anybody to buy a car here. The longer story is below - When I first came to look at the Toyota Sequoia they had for sale, it was clear the man who took me on a test drive knew nothing about the car. He said it had no accidents (carfax reports later revealed it had 4), that the light sensor in the door would be fixed and the alert light would be gone (it came back on literally as I drove the car off the lot a week later) and that the brakes were in excellent shape. But when I spoke to Ed, the man who seems to run the operation, he agreed to let the car get checked out by my mechanics. A rarity! He even said he would drive the car there himself. What a gentleman. I knew my mechanics could get really busy, so I gave Ed a time to drive the car there that he agreed to. But Ed decided to drive it over whenever he felt like driving it over, and called me while he was on his way there. I told him that it was exactly the WORST time to bring it in, but because he was being *such a gentleman,* I said I would call to make sure. Lo and behold, my mechanics were literally stuffed to the gills, but Ed had the nerve to lecture ME about it, and the dishonesty of mechanics (hah!). But I go to test drive it a second time because I like the car. I bring a friend of mine who knows about cars with me to see if he picks up on anything major. He agreed that the brakes needed work, but otherwise approved (he's not a mechanic, btw). I tried to negotiate the price for the electrical issues and brakes, but Ed insisted on his "integrity" and said he would service the brakes himself and make sure the door sensor was fixed. Knowing I would have to put more work into the car, I bought it thinking it was still a fair price for what seemed to be the condition it was in, despite the accidents they were claiming never happened. The car died less than a week after I bought it. It's died at least half a dozen times since then. Back when we thought it was just a frayed battery cable, I was okay with the fact that it needed new wheel bearings and had an oil leak that would be expensive to fix. Like I said - I knew it would need work. But after weeks of replacing the battery, tinkering w the radio to see if it was draining the battery, and hardly being able to drive it, it's now clear that it's been the alternator going bad this entire time. This would be upsetting even if I hadn't been made to feel like a crazy brat for everything I'd wanted to do to ensure I was buying a decent car. By the time I went to buy the car and saw that the powertrain warranty I was promised wasn't there, I was just fed up. I didn't expect him to honor it if it was there, anyway. Just stay away. This place is a s*** show.

Good afternoon WIlliam. I think that the review that you are leaving for South Florida Auto Sales, LLC was done in error. We have not had a Corvette for sale for over 2 years now. I recently got a phone call for someone looking for a Corvette, I am not sure if that was you or not. I informed the person that I did not have a Corvette in stock, but would be more than happy to find one if needed. The person mentioned that he was not interested. I would appreciate if you would remove this review as it is affecting my business and South Florida Auto Sales has nothing to do with your experience regarding a corvette. You can reach us by email if you have any questions at
[email protected] Thank you for assisting us with this review that was meant for another business.

Called about a Corvette and he was very polite. I inquired about the vehicle history and he told me it was purchased at auction after a light accident, he replaced a fender and rim. He even said he had the fender and rim to show me how light of a hit it was. I researched the car and saw it was sold in TX at auction with crash damage....4 and a half years ago....the car was fixed and then auctioned a second time in Jacksonville FL with 'mechanical issues'. That is where this dealer bought the car. He never did the fender repair....it was done when he got the car...he never disclosed the mechanical issues. There are alot of favorable reviews but I would urge the buyer to beware. When I asked him about the real history of the vehicle he said it was sold.
