I went to this YMCA to see if they would let me workout since I have a membership in my area. A girl stated no problem we will set you up, the male who was not so nice was asking me to sign without letting me see what I was signing. He stated one time free and then you pay. This is not unreasonable it was just the way he did it. I no longer wanted to sign up, too sneaky.

Gym is low grade but that is reflected in the price. My issue is around cancelling.. I have left Miami and emailed to cancel and only recently realized that the payment was still coming out. I then phoned them about this and the person I spoke to told me I would have to come and cancel in person, i explained that I’m living back in Europe and she said well that’s the policy and i knew what I was signing up for. Completely unreasonable and unprofessional approach which is why you’re better off paying more for a more flexible gym

Being from Wisconsin, this YMCA was very eye opening. Everything about the gym was amazing, the staff were very friendly, the bathrooms were extremely clean - it was a nice addition having body wash, shampoo and conditioner alongside also having several blow dryers. The view of the ocean from the treadmills was another thing to point out, it made the lift so much more enjoyable. Although I didn’t use it, this is the first YMCA I’ve been to that has a rock wall which I found to be really neat. For a 30$ a month YMCA pass this is a steal on so many levels. I would recommend every gym goer to check out this location if they’re in Miami.

Pretty cool gym, they have almost every time of machine you would need. They also have cardio stations and hit stations
