Very unpleasant! I made an appointment for 2:30 and I come in on time (2.25pm). I wait a few minutes to check in and then I sit down. Several more minutes pass and then someone tells me "this is the busiest day of the year, and the doctor is behind schedule. The waiting time is about 2 hours." 2 HOURS? If I'm going to show up ON TIME, you need to honor your appointments. If you're 2 hours behind schedule, you're clearly overbooking appointments and prioritizing volume over service. At least have the decency to CALL me to let me know before I walk outside in the freezing rain and go all the way down there! Selfish, unprofessional, and just plain arrogant to think that I would be willing to wait 2 hours beyond my scheduled time. Needless to say, I walked out. I was planning on getting my eyes checked and buying new frames with my FSA, which came out to almost $500 last time. Not the only eye doctor in the neighborhood!
I hate going here !!!!! The people at the front desk don't even speak. This is my second time here trying to purchase glasses . I walk to the front the two women just looked at me. Finally the lady asks do I need help . She asks my insurance I tell her and the older short lady not even the one I was talking says "oh no we don't take that" . Okay I still want to purchase glasses I end up walking out worse place ever !!! Don't waste your time !
Dr. Daniel Ruvio is by far the best optometrist I have ever seen. Most NYC doctors shrug you off and do a quick, 10 minute vision test. Dr. Ruvio takes you through multiple tests, tests the health of your eyes and comes to an extremely accurate conclusion on what you need to know. He is the only eye doctor Ive seen who has given me a set of glasses that MAJORLY impact my day to day and I cant recommend him enough! The team at Eye to Eye is helpful and accommodating and lovely to work with. No matter where I move, I always end up coming back to Eye to Eye and Dr. Ruvio in particular for my eye health.
9/9/19 Today I went to this location, and after reading several poor reviews. I expected a poor experience. The people I met today were kind, courteous, and professional. From the doctor, to the young lady that helped me "fit" my contacts were above and beyond. I originally had a concern regarding my eyes the doctor was able to address in a timely manner. The young lady that helped me with my contacts was extremely patient, and shared her own experiences. I didn't have to wait some extreme amount of time as you'll read in the other reviews. Personally, I'm happy with the service, and the product I expected. I'd definitely give this place a shot.
First time visit an absolutely my last. I am shocked people would run such a colossally evil environment with consequences like reviews today. Every single employee was starting fights with customers. The rep that I approached literally huffed and puffed about me wanting to try on a single frame because of covid. She also took the liberty of deciding where I should shop just so she could continue not realizing that she is at work.
