Tap out fitness Wont stop charging my card . I Gave them 30 day notice . They told me I was in a yearly contract Jan 2021- Jan 2022 I was only 9 months in when I called to cancel so I had to pay the entire year . Ok so I paid for the entire year completed the whole 12 months . After that they told me that their policy is to AUTOMATICALLY move me to month to month & is still charging my card . I ONLY WANTED A YEAR !! STOP CHARGING MY CARD .
Lack of ethics #1: I scheduled my membership to begin ~ a month + ahead of time and found out I'd be no longer at that job and requested to hold off on my membership. I was told some excuse and was unable to not move forward, though this request was ~ a month ahead of my start date. Lack of ethics #2: I no longer have the job, per what I'd told them, and they are now somehow able to cancel my membership within 30 days of notice, which is strange, because we couldn't before. Lack of ethics #3: We were able to pause until July. Wait. It is June. Why are we attempting to charge my old debit card repeatedly? Great personalities will turn into spoiled milk over a few dollar & cents.
Kevin - We do strive to provide the best possible customer service to all of our members. It is standard practice in the fitness industry to provide a simple 30 day notice. In your case, we did not have any long term agreement and you did not commit to any period of time. Any payments that fall within 30 days of submitting notice are valid. Thank you!

Do not give your money to these people. I wanted to try this place out for a month so they signed me up for a month-to-month contract. They said I needed to let them know 30 days in advance if I did not want to continue. I signed up just before December. By the end of December I was sure I was not going to continue. I came back on Monday right after the new year holiday and told them I would no longer be using the gym. The month of January had already been taken out of my account. They insisted on charging me for the month of February as well. I tried to work this out with the area manager and he continuously ignored me and never called me back to work out a solution. He offered a discount but no such discount ever showed up in my final payment. These people are nothing but money grubbing and do not care about you or your situation. I am sure I can recommend many other gyms of this type somewhere else. Additionally they dont let you know until youre already on the hook but if you want 24 seven access you have to pay a pretty exorbitant fee for a key fob to get in the building. Dont waste your money here
