If I could give less then a star I would. They are a total ripoff for service. I wanted to have a technician come out to get a serial number off my cooktop and oven so I could replace some parts and they wanted $140 for the first appliance and $85. for the 2nd??? They serviceman was going to be here anyway?? How long does it take to look up a serial number? And I purchased them all from them.

We paid a tech to come out and diagnose our sub-zero fridge that wasn't holding temperature. He quoted us $2500 for a complete rebuild and a 4-week waiting period. After some digging we found a different company that identified only the thermostat as the problem. Within a couple days they replaced the door gaskets and thermostat and fridge is working great again for less than $900 all-in. When I cancelled the appointment and told them why, they didn't even offer to refund my diagnostic charge and instead reiterated that it was a senior tech - doesn't that make it worse? This company has a massive advantage due to their relationship with Sub-Zero and as a result it seems to me they are gouging people - and because of the demographic of their target customers most will pay. Buyer beware on this one!

Update: A Subzero representative contacted us and wanted a review on the service given by Clark. I told him the truth. The Subzero representative made it right by reimbursing half the cost and told us to contact him if we had any further issues. The very next day the part installed failed. Subzero scheduled a service call within 48 hours. A new compressor was installed and has been working as it should be. Thank you. All I can say is stay away from getting your appliance serviced through Clark Subzero in Milford. A 12 year warranty part cost almost $700 to install. This includes the $135 service call. I asked why it was costing this much to replace and install the part. I was told by service tech that was what the company told him to charge. I told him it was an incredibly high cost for labor and he said it was a very difficult 4 hour job and the part alone cost $1200 which was still under warranty. He was in and out of my home in 40 minutes. I called back and asked why I was told it was a 4 hour job and he clearly lied to my face and said I never said that, I said 2 hours at most. I called customer service and they gave me the BS on how experienced the tech needs to be to replace this part and I also had to pay for his license fee. STAY AWAY!
