With time and usage the enamel coating will eventually come off, revealing the lovely silver aluminium underneath, this is part of the aesthetic of our brand as all pieces are handmade by artisans in our atelier outside Salvador in Brazil. The bags chip and scratch easily. Ive only had mine for 10 months and it looks nothing like it did when I bought it. They say this makes all the bags unique and special but really mine just looks old and tatty now. I asked in the shop if they could respray it or replace the broken bottle tops but she said they couldnt and seemed shocked that Id even asked. This really defeats the point of a sustainable brand.. I dont use my bag anymore and have tried to resell it but no one wants an old looking broken bag unfortunately. Its a shame because I loved it when I first bought it.

My wife loved these purses and bags. The staff are very friendly. Very informative was nice to know that the bags where recycled material and looks to be of great quality, pity about my photographic skills. Interesting note the raw aluminum bags where cheaper than the painted ones, and too my untrained unfashionable eye looked better. Quite a unique way to make a over abundant item (the ringtop) into a gorgeous fashion statement.
