I'm sorry I was delivering a machine back to a elderly customer who doesn't drive and I got stuck in traffic. During the summer we do close at 5pm that is why the sign was on the door. If you come back I will give you a discount on any supplies you may need for the inconvenience.

This is my first negative review ever! I ordered two belts for my Vacuum on 1/13/16. I received nothing so I contacted the business on 3 FEB and spoke with a man who said he would put it in the mail 1st class and send me a confirmation number by e-mail so I could track its status. I confirmed all my contact information. I received no confirmation e-mail and have not received the product. Now they are not answering their phone. I have left more than a dozen messages with SPECIFIC information and nothing. It's only $6.73 but this is theft, and I thought the world should know.
Very Happy with the Service they provided the fixed my wife's Janome sewing machine and our Dyson vacuum for a reasonable price. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to everyone.
I was upset to find out that most of the Oreck stores in the area had closed, so I search around for vacuum repair and found Universal Vacuums. To my surprise when I went into the shop I saw Sharif the guy that use to repair my machines in the Greenbelt Oreck vacuum store. Since I had driven so far he told me he would fix it the same day and to come back in an hour. He always gives me great service with smile. Glad I found him. A BIG THANK YOU.
I am the owner I was never rude to you, I simply explained to you that the sensors may not be bad that it would be the circuit board because they have to communicate for the machine to work properly. We respect all of our customers because without customers businesses can't survive. You were trying to demand a price and I informed you that we had to take it apart and look at it and we do that for free. We don't give guess estimates over the phone we check out machines for free in order to give a proper estimate. We appreciate every customer that calls or comes into our store. Just got off the phone with a man after I called to get a price for replacing sensors on my Robot Vacuum. The man I spoke to on the phone has a very stuck up persona he wouldn't answer any of my questions even after telling the process that he would have to take to get it done. He then asked me how I knew the problem and after I told him the steps I took to figure out the problem he then became very rude ( I guess he thought his experience trumps common sense and knowledge of electrical components). He then told me I have no way of knowing what the issue was when all I wanted to do was get an estimate for some sensors. At the end of the day respect goes a long way and I get it you may own a business but it doesn't make you any better than anyone else so work to how you treat people.
