I have been going to this place for quite some years now (about 6) and I like the frames they carry but this year the front desk service is terrible. They have no customer service skills at all and they behave as if they're in the streets trynna son somebody. Had people waiting outside in the cold cuz they only allow 10 people in at a time ( now that's all fine and good because of the pandemic) BUT ONCE THEY LET ME IN THEY HAD THE NERVE TO TRY AND BARK AT ME ABOUT BEING LATE. YALL MADE ME LATE WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT?! Also insisting on speaking to me in spanish because of my last name is kinda weird. ****Update*** So after going to this place a bit over a month ago, for an eye exam and for contacts i want to give it one star. I don't think I'll be going back to this place, the customer service is just terrible. After my exam one of the girls with the short hair gave me so much grief and such a difficult time for wanting to use my 1199 insurance. I mean why accept insurances if you practically try to force people to pay out of their pockets instead. I have insurance for a reason. She tried to LIE to me about how billing and insurance work. But little did she knew I work with billing and insurance in a hospital for over 7 years. I know insurances and how billing works with hmos, ppos, pos and any insurance. When she realized i caught her in her lie she switched up the story and said she would bill 1199 seiu for my eye exam and then proceeded to draw up ridiculous calculations for the cost of my contacts. Which she wanted me to also pay out of pocket for. I tried to purchased with my own money 3 months supply and she told me that they don't take tap pay WHICH I KNOW THEY DO BTW, because she was so hell bent on making me purchase a while years supply and pay for my exam out of pocket. Me knowing my insurance covers for eyes. After i made my purchase she told me they would call me when the contacts were ready for pick up. An ENTIRE MONTH went by and no phone call, no email,no mail no voice mail NOTHING from them. So i went over there on 3.29.21 and the first thing I did was ask the front desk how long does it take to receive contacts, a different girl said depending on the prescription the longest it takes is 7 days if they have to order it to the store. So i know this other girl just had it out for me that day for whatever reason, and most likely because she thought she was going to fool me like I'm sure she has been scamming countless people who go here. But i work with insurances honey. I told the other girl its been a month and gave her my receipt to remind them I'm not playing with them. She didn't know how to act and gave me so many free solutions and things, trying to make up for their screw ups but that's not what I wanted. I wanted to be treated with respect and honesty because I am a customer and I've never treated any of their staff in any sort of rude or ill manner. Just don't waste your time and money going to this place.
I've been coming to this doctor since I was a child. He has been great to me and always allowing an open dialect. He takes his time and doesn't rush his patients, which is key in eye health. This man is a gem in the Bronx!
I was super pleased with the workers and the service they provided. They are all super friendly, dedicated and know what they are doing. Highly recommend this place of service.
