We eat at Eggberts, Caney, KS a couple of times each month usually very good food & service. However, this time my husband ordered chicken fried steak meal. The chicken fried steak was a dry, dark, dense & tough meat. Looked like a thin piece of leather. We notified our waitress who kindly offered a replacement. But of course you always hear stories that if you offend the chef they may sabotage your replacement meal. And once you are laserved bad food you really dont want a replacement. He told the waitress that we would still pay for the meal. So, we were charged full price for a meal that was not consumable. We were not offered the option to speak with a supervisor or manager or offered a replacement for future. We will most likely ever go back or recommend this Eggberts.
