Wish I could give negative stars. It was the worst experience of my life living here. Literal nightmare. One word: COCKROACHES

I give the negative star because of the cockroachs problem. the apartment buildings itself is in a decent area. There is the shaker squares right down the street and that is nice. this is the only positives about this buildings though. they are infested with cockroachs and even after being treated with the pest service there was still issue. i suppose they do the regular services to the building to try and prevent such problem but the apartments building still is infested. I would prefer to live elsewhere because of this, i like to have the peace of mind in a clean home with no cockroach

Dear Madison Maria, I understand that all of the issues in your apartment have now been fixed and I am sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. As you have stated, the difficulties of adjusting and managing schedules around the many variables cause by this pandemic have been a challenge and we have not always been able to complete work as timely as we, too, expect. I moved here at the insistence of my fiancé, who lives in a building also run by Capital Properties. I have had multiple maintenance issues at this property that have taken a a couple days, to a week to be completed, including a broken doorknob on the door TO my apartment that took an entire week to fix. Currently, Ive had two holes in my pantry from when pipes were being updated that no one scheduled to cover until (supposedly) now, after these holes have been in my wall since OCTOBER of 2020. I was under quarantine when the contractors originally came, and no one scheduled the contractors to return and fix them. Along with that, I have had a terrible experience with a worker for the property when I accidentally locked myself out. It took him over two hours to unlock my door for me, and was rude to my fiancé when asked about his ETA. My bad experiences here have outweighed any good experiences that I have had here, and I will never recommend moving to Shaker Park East.
