POTENTIAL BUYERS BEWARE! Their staff apparently do not talk to one another, sending you conflicting and irrelevant data about your accounts and standing. They are also at ease forgetting what they said or did in a fortnight. Would be quite fine for a dog and pony show, but engaging in any sort of trade of good and services is done at your own risk. STAY AWAY!!

The 'Real Madrid 'of UK Medal Auctions that overtook Spink in the late 1990's and now has 65% of the trade . I bought my first medal from them this week ( after 20 yrs away from hobby ) and was impressed with the professionalism . The website snipe system works and is easy to use . The front office guy Fletch ( coins ) is really nice and took time with my questions . He gave me the time and its appreciated . The packaging is excellent when they send the Medal with double packing airmail envelope with bubble wrap + cardboard sandwich and PVC medal envelope Auctions fees are 24% so add to cost on Hammer . One thing to note is that the 'estimates ' are at 2000's prices and designed to ' entice ' bidding i presume . So expect to pay triple usually to win the medal . Overall its essential to be with DNW .
Dear Mr Miech, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave so a lovely review. We are so glad to have been of assistance to you, especially Bradley. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Kind regards from the DNW team.

As I wanted to obtain a rare coin valuation, I approached two auction houses: DNW and Spink. I was absolutely delighted with the service provided by Brad Hopper at DNW. The communication was second to none, he always replied to all my queries promptly and provided very detailed and professional valuation of my coin. His professionalism and friendly attitude have an impact on my future decisions, of whom to put my collection on auction with. In comparison, I was shocked by the lack of knowledge and the rudeness of the staff at Spink. My coin was initially wrongly identified and later, in person valuation I was just told " this is really nice coin, really nice coin". I would definitely recommend DNW to everyone. Once again, thank you Brad.

I messaged these about a coin valuation but I was told I need to go to the royal mint for confirmation of the coins authenticity for full value. However they did not give me a maximum value to see if it was worth even confirming the authenticity. Not only that the royal mint do not check authenticity of coins after 1979. Their knowledge seems lacking and their lack of reply suggest this furthermore.
