Tried to sign up for direct debit on their website does not recognize my name 3 times EVEN though it is the name on my BILL. Called and over 3 minutes to get to a human through their nightmare phone train no wonder they have less than 2 stars from over 80 reviewers, then when I complained and vented because of the problem she threatened to disconnect me which at that point I hung up. If I had just mailed a check in I would of been done in less than a minute but wasted 15 minutes with there online system and customer service
Hi Jay. We are a registered Idaho company, SUEZ Water Idaho Inc., and have been serving the Treasure Valley for more than 100 years. The change from United Water to SUEZ Water Idaho was simply a branding change. Idahoans answer your calls, fix your pipes, and check your meters. Rates are set by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission and SUEZ Water Idaho customers pay some of the lowest utility rates in the nation. You can see the Idaho Statesman article here: https://www.idahostatesman.com/news/business/personal-finance/article221601225.html If you have discolored water issues, please call us at (208) 362-7304. We will give you a small credit on your bill, and we can send a crewmember out to check it.

Grew up in Boise for the last 45 years. Boise water was some of the best around until Suez took over. I have to flush my water heater every couple of months now and get tons of sediment out of it. Water flavor horrible, and we get the honor of paying almost twice what it used to be. [EDIT in response to Suez's response below] Suez's response tries to give you the impression that they are an Idaho Company doing business here for over 100 years. Suez is a FRENCH company who has purchased many municipal water companies across the country. Suez purchased United Water here in Idaho, it was not simply a name change. They are currently trying to purchase Eagle Water in Eagle, ID and according to their own press release will result in a 204% rate hike for residential customers and a 303% increase for business customers over the next 5 years. Plus, they have publicly stated that they will start chlorinating the water, which does not need it. So, like Boise, Eagle's water quality will go down and their rates will go up if Suez is allowed to purchase Eagle Water.
Had a leak at the meter. Called to request repair. Very short phone wait time. The repair crew arrived within a half hour and the work was completed in two hours. Everyone competent and polite. Properly credited for lost water on my next bill. Thank you.
The single WORST company and the worst company I have ever seen in my life!! Everything is written in their favor. Suez had a bad pressure regulator on their main line which caused our water line to fail. The plumbing contractor replacing our water line damaged the Idaho Power line which caused a catastrophic furnace failure. A year later our water usage spiked because the plumber had caused yet another leak in the water line and now our "level pay" jumped $50 and Suez wont adjust our bill. Suez said they not at fault. What a miserable freaking company
