I put an application fee on an house and never received any information from them. I paid my $55 application fee March 11 here it is March 31 no one ever got in touch with me. Its so disappointing because you look at reviews and it says scam scam scam but when its too late when you already paid your money it was a very nice house in Hampton Georgia but they are scam artist out there too many people work too hard to be having this done to them. 622 Togwatee Pass, Hampton, GA 30228
Update: Shower remodel was completed yesterday, over two months since discovery. Still waiting on the master closet carpet and wall to be fixed from the water damage due to negligent remodel. Current renter. Water leak found in wall behind master shower in closet from poor remodeling (no pipe sealant used) has caused mold inside wall. Tile shower was installed against industry standards, no backer board or moisture barrier was used. Tile installed directly to drywall. Been waiting a month for it to be repaired. Renu is arguing details of the quote. The only people we can normally get on the phone is a call center representative, which makes note of our calls. It appears the whole shower was installed against industry standards and that seems to have caused the issues. This completely unacceptable!
If I could give a ZERO rating, I would. I put an application in on March 7, 2022 and have yet to hear anything. It is now April 12, 2022. RENU by far is the worst management company I have ever encountered. It's like they have trained scripted customer service reps, each Rep repeats the same rhetoric over and over. They ask you to provide all this information all the while knowing the have other applicants pending for the same house. When asked if you can transfer your application to another house, you are told "It's a process". What process when you are already approved in the first place...it should be a smooth transition. RENU has some beautiful homes however their process is by far the worst ever. I ended up going with another company and getting approved in 3 days, moving in April 5, 2022. Waiting on RENU, my family would have been homeless. All I can say is please do your homework in researching these management companies especially RENU. The reviews are accurate...they take your application fee...you can never speak with anyone other than customer service who says they will send an email to the tenant manager - who NEVER contacts you. I emailed the representative who I initially emailed all of my documents, the tenant manager, the president of RENU and have yet to get any response. The Better Business really need to get involved and investigate this company as it seems clear they are taking people's application fees, keeping homes on the market, knowing perfectly well the home is rented - false advertising. BEWARE OF RENU MGMT!!! I am truly thankful for one thing, RENU taught me patience because through this ordeal - God was preparing a beautiful home with another company - more than I could ever imagine. So for that I thank you RENU!!! P.S. I can't even imagine having to put in a maintenance work order - all the while they expect their rental payment in a timely fashion - SMH!!!
