UNPROFESSIONAL & NO proper training it seems! Caused much $$$ in damages to property and not willing to pay for any damages. Not sure if the owner even has any insurance including liability insurance! The owner is uncaring and evasive when faced with the reality of his employees' MISGUIDED, IMPROPER, and UNTRAINED actions on the job. ...Make sure the company you hire has the appropriate insurance coverage that covers damages your property or anyone else's may incur as a result of any of the work done by the tree service company and you get a proper contract of business liability. Also, check that the company you hire and all its employees have proper training in their field of business!!! Remember: it doesn't matter how long a company has been in business, it does matter that the company owner(s) and manager(s) are trustworthy and respectable, and the workers have the right training for the job!!! ...as for Weber Land & Tree service... Services NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
Not recommended at all. Weber Land and Tree gave a fair and prompt estimate. Everything after that was downhill. The job was for four trees. A crew came and removed three, forgetting the final tree. There was no care for where branches landed, even with space to avoid hitting plants/shrubs. To get the fourth tree removed, I had to call multiple times to let them know the tree was still there. A secretary told me they had been told it was removed. Removal of the final tree was the most careless and irresponsible. The tree was removed in pieces large enough that it hit my neighbors house. Luckily this only broke a shutter and left marks on their siding. It also hit their propane tank, again luckily only leaving marks, and their shrub, breaking branches from it. In addition to letting the pieces hit my neighbors property, the crew let it break a large section of my bush. In the removal of the large tree pieces they broke rose bushes and moved pieces of my neighbors landscaping, without moving any of it back. I still cant believe my neighbors property became involved in this. Without asking, the trunk of this tree was moved to the side of my driveway and kept there for about two weeks. There was an effort made to correct these mistakes. After much calling from me to follow up on the fixes, soil was used to fill tire ruts, a crew trimmed the shrubs that were damaged, and my neighbors property was cleaned and shutters replaced. Between all of the multiple visits to fix the problems, the owner called to inquire about the problems and discuss payment. He said hed call back after looking into our situation. I expressed to an employee that Id like to discuss payment with the owner as I felt a small discount would be reasonable after all of the effort on our part to resolve the mess created. Instead of calling me, the owner sent his employee with a new price. After expressing Id still like to speak with the owner, he called shortly after. I explained Id pay that amount but didnt find it satisfactory. That call ended with the owner cutting me off, angrily telling me not to pay anything and that he would write it off as bad debt. I said I didnt want to do that to him and he hung up on me. His employee was still present and was given the check for the new price. Im glad to be done with them and hope this helps others avoid trouble.
Great customer service by a hard working Veteran owed company. I will only ever use Weber Land and Tree for my tree and landscaping needs. If I ever need snow removal services I will definitely be using them as well.
I am convinced the 5 star reviews are from family and friends. All of the 1 star reviews are correct. Rushed, botched, careless job, left damage, no response when called or emailed, no accommodation for a discounted payment. Instead CHRISTOPHER WEBER THREATENED TO SUE MY PARTNER. All over price accommodation for the damage and unprofessionalism we have experienced. I wouldnt recommend even if youre desperate.
