They said that my insurance covered the visit and the contacts so I booked the visit a month in advance. I followed the instructions from the eye insurance company to call them ahead of time to find out if my insurance was accepted. My daughter and my roommate need eye exams also. I walked 20 minutes from my home in the heat to the appointment. When I got there I was told that they did not accept my insurance. I would have to pay for it and then do a super bill. It seemed like a set up. I will not go back. Expect to pay for services and if you have insurance they may try to have you pay anyway.
The doctors/medical side of this place are fabulous. Extremely professional and fast, seemed highly competent. So I'm torn because I loved that side of the business and would want to return again. However, I did not enjoy the frames sales experience at all and would give that side lower than 4 stars. After giving the salesperson a few very simple criteria, including no bright/neon frames, he proceeded to ignore what I wanted and just keep piling frames in front of me and insisting I try them on, including bright ones that were the exact opposite of what I'd said I was looking for. Multiple times, I'd literally get up from the chair to go look at something I was interested in, and he'd call me back as soon as my butt left the seat. I went to several stores yesterday looking for frames and no one else treated me like that. It felt rude and pushy. If he'd just let me relax and look around the store on my own, I might have found something I liked.
Worst service. Never called to tell me my glasses were ready. Never called to confirm my appointment. They just dont do the basic things. Caused me to be without glasses for nearly a month.
