We have gone to Agliolio 2 times within a month. Our first experience was very nice. Good food and service until we went to pay our bill. We had a gift card which was declined since the card was for $100 and our bill was higher. We are told this is not unusable at restaurants. No problem we just paid in cash. The next day we checked the balance and it 0. This was the first and only time we used it. Apparently someone at the restaurant wrote down the number and used it that night on google play!!!! Our 2nd we had gone into the bar to get a drink before our table was ready. We had asked the bartender if that was ok and they said absolutely. We had just gotten our drinks and the hostess came up to us and said we were not allowed to sit at the bar if someone walks up and wants to eat at the bar. We were asked to leave and take our drinks outside. We then asked to speak to a manager. They came over and repeated that policy. It was very embarrassing to say the least. Once again the food and table service was good. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! Talk about Bang for Buck! My wife and I have been to the Wellington and Boynton Beach locations many times and we have always had stellar experiences. Agliolio's claim to fame is their wide variety of pastas and sauces, all made from scratch, in-house. If that sounds too good to be true, just wait until you get the bill - the food is so reasonably priced, you'll be shocked based on how delicious and fresh everything is. Both locations are always very busy, but we've never waited more than a few minutes to be seated without a reservation. Service is ALWAYS fast and friendly. You can mix and match their house-made pastas and sauces to your liking and add any toppings you like. You can even double your pasta portion for just a couple bucks. The eggplant dishes are all great and you can really taste the difference in the fresh ingredients. The pizzas are good but definitely not the highlight. A few of their salads are also worth writing home about. The wine menu is small but thoughtful with an emphasis on Italian wines that properly complement the menu. I do wish they rotated the wines more but the options and the prices are great. You won't be disappointed! High quality, homestyle Italian cooking at olive garden prices or lower! Definitely check this place out, you'll want to come again and again.
First time there. Our waitress was pleasant enough but some of the other staff who brought the food out were not. One brought something out and asked if there was anything else and when a member of our party asked for more coke, she literally rolled her eyes!! We spent a lot of money in there and I don't feel we were treated kindly. Food was ok.
