Used to love this place but recently the service level has bottomed. Last time I was there the guy manager was more interested in his friends hanging out by the till than looking after the real customers. All uncomfortably cliquey.

I can't give this place a proper review, as I didn't eat here. I joined some friends for a drink though, and that was enough because of the price. It may be an expensive area, but £8.75 for a basic gin and tonic is ridiculous to me wherever I am, unless it's somewhere seriously special!! £35 for four drinks is very hard to justify. The place has a good atmosphere and vibe, but it was still very noisy and hard to talk. It sounds silly, but the chairs were also particularly uncomfortable! Friendly staff and a smart place, but will not be paying that much for a drink again any time soon.
