I always wanted to do MMA, but finding a good gym was always difficult, especially for a woman with no previous training. During a Google search, I found that StrongerMMA was very close to where I live, so I decided to give it a try. The first class was by far, the most difficult. I was walking into a gym where I didn't know anyone, to practice a sport that I've never practiced before. Luckily, everyone I met at StrongerMMA during the first session was supportive and friendly. Rico and Tom are extremely nice and welcoming and they will provide all the advice you need to start your MMA journey. The classes are tough, but if you like MMA, you'll get used to the training regime in no time. While it may seem hard to be a woman in this sport, StrongerMMA does a fantastic job in helping any ladies who want to join the gym. Training is the same for everyone, no exceptions and you (mostly) get to spar with people your own size. In the 5 months that I've been training here, I feel much stronger on my legs, my stamina has improved significantly and I am much more confident in my day-to-day life. I'm really glad I joined StrongerMMA! As I said, the hardest thing is walking through the door for your first training session :)

Fantastic, genuinely friendly atmosphere, traditional Kung Fu/MMA/Wrestling/MMA/BJJ & Yoga. EVERY member of staff are friendly and polite, Tom, Devon, Rico, Marcos, Claudio and Alex. To top it off, one of the best, most experienced BJJ instructors in London/UK, Oli Geddes. And this reflects in the membership, its a tough atmosphere without compromising manners and the Budo spirit. The only downside for me is the location and parking. But its worth the minor inconveniences to train here! Its a real cliche, but this place has a family atmosphere, and it also has the connections if youre a youngster who wants to advance your grappling/MMA to a semi/pro level. A lot of London martial arts gyms could learn a lot from these guys.

I train here for 7 months and is an amazing place with one of the best trainers I ever had, Rico with many years of experience, knowledge and full dedication. Owners Rico and his brother Tom are some of the hardest working and nicest people you will meet, they will look after you like family once you earn the respect, by simply hard work, politeness and respect. Loads of tatami space and also a designated free weights area, all the facilities are new and the cage is great as well. This place has change my life since I started and personally I am achieving really good results in only a few months, my body and mind are much stronger and feel much more confident with myself. I recommend 100% this gym, stronger team is awesome and the atmosphere. Last thing to mention, in this gym was the first time I met a UFC fighter, Brad Picket was training with us and will do a seminary as well. Stronger every day. Loco Sánchez
