I was charged for a full color and balayage. My roots were touched up, not fully colored. The balayage was a few stokes of hair which ended up matching the color of the rest of my head. Not happy. On top of this, Im told mid color that if I want to have my hair cut, its extra and despite being unhappy about this, was willing to pay extra during the appointment to have it cut. To which, Im told theyre not able to cut my hair today. I was charged 179$ and then received a second e-receipt saying Id been charged an additional 100$. Tried calling an inquiring about this and Lisa was unable to find anyone or answer my questions Im beyond furious, unsatisfied and couldnt be bribed with a free cut/color to go back. Worst experience Ive had at a professional salon.
I cannot believe how terrible my girlfriend was just treated here... She is mixed and has extremely curly hair. She notified the establishment when making the appointment. At the appointment she was turned away and asked repeatedly "well are you sure you've been here before". Treating her like garbage because she was dressed in sporty clothes and no makeup. She has frequented several of the locations over the past years and has never dealt with such blatant rudeness. She was brought to tears and is non confrontational so treated the person with respect even while the person continued to berate her. I rarely leave such low reviews. This establishment deserves a 0.

I had a full foil with Julia and spent 3+ hours to see my hair not blended, my roots still brown, barely full coverage and different shades of blonde all over my head. When I pointed out her mistakes she told me she didnt know what happened and that was it. She also brushed my wet hair with a regular brush instead of a detangler and damaged my hair. And when I came home the back of my head still had more hair dye that she did not fully wash out. The front desk Jasmines customer service was so fake and in-genuine about my horrible experience. First she expressed how sorry she was to me, and then quickly jumped to I have to pay full price for Julias mistakes or I cant be a customer with Gene Juarez anymore and that it was not personal. I have been with Gene Juarez for 5+ years but after this I will not be coming back to them for service.
