Starkey, we appreciate you taking your time to express your experience with PrintCo, and we apologize for not living up to the high standard of customer service that we hold dear. We understand your time is valuable and appreciate you contacting us for your printing needs. We know you have a choice in whom you decide to do business with, and we empathize with your frustration and know it derives from a place of dissatisfaction which is in opposition to our core belief in superior service. So again we apologize for the unpleasant experience you had with our company. In addressing your concerns, we feel there were a few things that were miscommunicated which may have led to your displeasure with your interaction with us. When our sales manager quoted the price of $3.04 for each print, he quoted the standard price for a one color 12 piece screen printing order. The recommendation of using translucent full color egg shell decals ($.07 - $.15 each) was made to provide a more cost effective option for your customer supplied shopping bags than the $3.04 quoted. The difference in the look and feel of the decals mentioned is minimal in comparison to any other printing options available for customer supplied bags. It is important to note that we can only guarantee the quality of bags which we source, due to the unpredictability of bag sourced outside our network of vendors. Offset digital paper printing is actually one of the most popular printing services which we offer and you can view examples of this process on our website (http://shopprintco.com). It was also suggested that if decals were not an option, and imprinted services were required, that sourcing the bags from our manufacturing partners in China would be a better option to reduce the per bag printing cost from $3.04. However the minimums piece order to manufacture over seas would be in the thousands of pieces, and the ability to control quality would be more difficult than manufacturing here in our facilities. At PrintCo we serve hundreds of customers a week, and we like to know that every experience is a pleasant one which aligns with our mission of superior customer service. Again, we sincerely apologize and would love the opportunity to still assist you with your business needs. Our goal in partnering with you is with hopes of changing your outlook of PrintCo and to ultimately assisting in the growth of your business. Thanks again for the input which we will use to better our services, and we wish success in your new venture. Sincerely, PrintCo Management PrintCo Printing & Embroidery (800) 650-1867

I responded to an ad posted by this company on Craig's List for custom shopping bags. I got a response from the sales manager, Brian Griffin, stating that they could fulfill my request but would like more information about what I wanted. It was over 24 hrs after I submitted the requested information when I realized I hadn't gotten a response from Brian. I then called the office before he told me in so many words that their services were too costly for me and that I couldn't afford to pay their asking price. He gave me the impression that they offered a number of types of printing services, only to tell me later in the conversation that they only do printing for materials like fabrics, plastics, woods, but not really paper. I was strictly asking for a price quote and after beating around the bush, he quoted me a price of 3.00 per bag. He told me that I would be better off ordering my bags from China or getting stickers made with my logo on them to paste on my bags. Yep, I asked him for a number and before he gave that number to me, he told me to contact someone in China or get some stickers made. I'm sure we're all familiar with the Oprah Winfrey experience in Switzerland. Was it racism or just being plain ole prejudice? I'm sure he'll write it off to saying "I'm black. What do you mean?" This company just lost out on a long term business relationship. I'll never really know how to rate this company from a customer's standpoint because I wasn't really extended an offer to truly do business with them. I feel bad that my rating has to be solely based on a "sales pitch" but I'd rather not give money to a company who places prejudices on people. I hope they do better soon but as of now, one star is all I can give. Good luck PrintCo! By the way, does anyone know of a printing company that actually does custom shopping bags; one that respects even their potential customers? If so, please write it in your review.
