Called this place to price out a recone on some specialty drivers I'm repairing, first off the guy who answered the phone did not appear to have any idea what I was talking about when I asked for a recone and said "you mean the foam is bad?" (these speakers don't even use foam surrounds). He then said he didn't think parts kits were available for the speaker because it sounded like something unique and I told him both of the most common wholesale houses for rebuild kits sell a complete rebuild kit for it. He then told me even if I bought the recone kits, he would charge me 4 hrs labor per speaker at a hundred dollars an hour. To sum it up, he basically told me to send the work somewhere else because he didn't know what he was doing and wanted to overcharge me so he could learn how to do it.

I first met Ray and his family at their old location on Gaither road, Ray and I would talk about speaker's and he gave me advice on how to make my system sound better, I have an older pair of Jensen Ls6 speaker's and Ray refoamed them for me, what great people they are, I will be contacting them soon about my speaker's, JAMES.
