I don't get the 5 stars or the hype surrounding this place. Maybe folks don't have 5 star restaurants where they come from. We are new to Pompano Beach and are trying different places. 5 stars to me means the the food, the service, location and the ambiance are all excellent. The food was average at best and very overpriced for the portion size. The inside resembled a cafeteria or similar not to mention it's off Federal Highway with a row of stores. Won't go back there again along with the seafood festival, lucky fish and a few others.

Knowing the fact we came here for our vacation staff members were absolutely great very friendly we ordered the oysters which was very good the lobster and crab legs I could tell you they were not fresh they were frozen I really expected a lot more in general it's not only them a lot of the restaurants in Pompano Beach and in Fort Lauderdale do not have fresh seafood it's all Frozen when you spent $234 for two people it should be fresh which it is not and I know a lot about Seafood because I eat it all the time in the butter was fake butter it was not a sweet salty butter which makes a very big difference when it comes to Seafood nice local place would I try it again probably not but that's just my preference

40 minute drive I find myself making every Saturday. swordfish bites, GREAT sushi, they had hogfish tacos last week, and a wonderful selection of craft, local beer. unbelievable.

After many visits here Im sad to say that tonight we were very disappointed. Although our server Ashley was very friendly & efficient the food was nowhere up to par. We ordered the catch of the day, Cobia & Mahi both to be prepared Coco Loco style. When we were served our dinners we were shocked at the portion which was 1/2 the size as previous visits & the broccoli was very hard. I understand prices have gone up but I would rather pay a little more & receive a portion that they previously served! Also I have never seen a fish dinner served in a bowl, it always came on a dinner plate. I believe thats because the portion was only 1/2 of what it used to be. Bowls are for cereal, soup & salads! The table next to us were shocked at their meal being served in a bowl. Wont rush to go back.
