We are sorry to hear you were not happy with your experience with us. We looked into your repair and found you checked in as separate parts this includes CPU, Motherboard, GPU and RAM not in a case or fully put together. At check in you did not not provide a power supply for the device which needed a DC style plug, and this prevented a proper diagnostic but did find that the RAM functional in our test bench as also found that the GPU was not detecting properly indicating hardware issues with the GPU. You then bought in a power supply for the device however not only was this power supply not intended for the motherboard it had been spliced to have the connector required for the device. That alone could have resulted in hardware damage. Manufactures make specific power blocks and connector for a reason. The power supply somehow did provide power but did not result in the motherboard posting at this point without a proper power supply it would have been very difficult to provide any definitive results but we did perform one last hardware inspection and did find that the CPU socket did have bent pins and this being an intel board that is a big issue because the repair of those pins is very hard type of repair that is hard to guarantee and for the most part is not a permanent. We as a business try to avoid performing repairs that are or could be temporary. In regards to the quote we did not provide any quote for the servicing we did however say that if the board was to be replaced that mother boards of similar quality can cost up to $300 not that it would cost $300.

A few months ago I had GoEBITS test a Mini-ITX desktop pc. They diagnosed my motherboard as having a broken processor socket pin, recommending I buy a new $300 motherboard. They did not give me any notes or writeup about their testing process or what they found. I was just told verbally that a pin was broken and the computer wouldn't boot. I took their word for it and abandoned the build for months. I am leaving this review now because I just discovered that the motherboard is completely functional. I checked right before ordering a new one and none of the pins are broken. In fact, I am currently writing on the computer they said was dead. All it needed was to be tested with a working graphics card, which they said they had done. I was very close to spending $300 on a new motherboard per their advice when my old one was fine. There were other problems with the service. When I recently opened the box back up I realized they had actually returned my computer with a different graphics card from the one I brought in (!?). Luckily both were old and faulty so it wasn't a very meaningful mistake. I hope nobody misses the card I ended up with. I was also quoted a week turnaround and it took more than three weeks. GoEBITS made two serious mistakes with my computer and took longer than quoted to do so. I would go elsewhere for desktop pc repairs.

We were unable to replicate any issues on your computer upon diagnostics, but we ran our diagnostics again at your request and recalibrated the trackpad on your computer as well, all at no cost as a courtesy. With regards to the dent and small scratches in the top left corner of the top case, we did make a note of it while you were still here at the time of check in on 1/25. Terrible customer service! I brought my Macbook in for a screen issue that was happening basically non-stop. After 3 days of trying to call them and ask if they had reproduced the issue... they said they had not. I went to pick up my laptop figuring I'd just have to take it to a regular Apple store and risk the crowds with COVID. Upon getting it back it has a big scratch/dent of the LCD screen. They pulled the whole "it was like that when we got it" business. Beware of this place!! Not honest people.
Took my computer in and they were thorough and kind. Didnt actually need to do anything so let us know we were covered by care if the problem came back! Barely any wait and great service.

I had a really good experience. My laptop fan was making this weird noise for almost 2 years and I had sent it in for a check up many times. Recently I sent it to GoEBITS for repair. They took my computer in and then again for a repeat evaluation without any additional charge and now my laptop does not make any fan noise and works as brand new. Professional and courteous staff.
Took a week to tell me my gpu was dead. Also overpriced for something other shops do for free.
