Since entering the sport of kiteboarding, I have purchased a multiple number of Slingshot kites. Although the kites perform as advertised, one constant and dangerous problem is valve failure. Through the years I have tried all of Slingshot's solutions to no avail. I have also found in speaking with other kiters, they have also had this constant problem with Slingshot kites. It baffles me how a company produces a product that its safety is undermined by the least costly parts of the product. For this reason, I can no longer purchase or recommend Slingshot kites.

Love slingshot gear! Love their customer service! Although most recently my "great" buy turned into an "eh" buy. I had recieved a free shipping code a long time ago and decided to type it in anyways to see if it still worked. To my surprise, it was accepted and applied to my checkout. So i actually decided to pull the trigger and ordered the board/gear stoked. Recieved it and a few weeks later reviewed my account. It had the full charge which was nearly $100 of shipping. No go on the rebate after contacted. Love the gear.. but admittedly i would not have ordered if the code had not worked.

Slingshot Sports is a great company to deal with. I have quite a few of their Kites and kiteboards over the years. They design and manufacture cutting edge products that work well and are durable. Their range of kites are great for beginners as well as pro-level riders.
