Got a mortgage last year through Welcome Home-- I felt as though everytime I called they were annoyed with the questions I had, they also gave us information that was not very helpful, You see I have a pay as you earn repayment plan on my student loans, he told joey and I to pay a portion on my student loans instead of putting down a larger down payment on the house because it would lower my student loan monthly payments - however that is not how that repayment process works- I am still making the same payment amt as before- he explained to me it would balance out better that way...We did that because we figured he knew what he was talking about and instead our house payment was more than we wanted and I'm still stuck paying the same Amount on my student loans as before... I'm not impressed with this mortgage company and will be looking elsewhere our next home.
