Would recommend you to go elsewhere. I gave em a shot and the bad reviews are unfourtanely true. They try to push their products which insurance does not cover. I got the same eyedrops for dry eyes at Walmart(Refresh Advance) for $9 and they insisted I pay $36 for their brand along with 2 other items (eye cooling mask & other drops) that would have cost me a total of over $100! And I had to ask them for otc products that will help my eyes and Dr. Roshandel kept saying her product is better *Beware they are quick to schedule you continuous pointless follow up appointments to CASH IN! **Also the glasses are really cheaply made, one side of my lenses are half out and the case is fabric and they don't include cloth to clean glasses. Zenni glasses are better bet!
I thought it was a little ro pricey for me. Its my first pair of glasses. I didnt really care much of cost becuase the way I was treated. She had great customer service and had alot of patience with me. She was awesome. Damn! I forgot her name. Very nice and professionals and very easy to find a pair out of hundreds to pick from!
The staff and doctors are very knowledgeable and helpful; after heeding their advice my eyes feel better than they ever have. Additionally, Dr. Golie does a great job of explaining in detail what is happening with your eyes, what measurements are taken and how they reflect real world eye health. Ive been a patient for a little under a year and I know more about my eyes now than decades before. Highly recommend.
The Optometrists at Belmont Eye Care are great, but because I get my examination there does not mean I have to purchase my glasses there. INTENTIONALLY, I go there for my yearly comprehensive examinations and purchase my glasses there, because I want to support local Mom and Pop businesses vs Target / big corporations, which is like 3 blocks away. Ive been going there since 2017, but I dont think I will go there any longer. There is one middle aged man in the receptionist area who most certainly rips you off (I dont like working with him for anything I buy from Belmont Eye Care ifI do), and I know it. I can smell the desperation 10 miles away when hes selling glasses to me. Insurance covers certain aspects of glasses, but the man up marks and fiddles with pricing after seeing what insurance charges. These are dishonest business practices, and I honestly feel queazy in my stomach when I see him there, because I am beyond disgusted with what he does, which is likely because he receives commission, or the owner Dr. Goalie Roshandel Keovan has directed him to be that way, but I doubt she told him to act that way. In a nutshell, get your examinations done over there, but take your prescriptions elsewhere to get glasses where prices are more transparent, and they wont rip you off / discount you based on insurance reimbursement rates. This review will be posted on all of Belmont Eyecares Review pages. I wont do this for their Ashland location as ive never visited it. God Bless and Happy New Year. This review was done under a pseudonym. Hopefully they take this into consideration. Dishonest business will not take you a long way.
