Cesar Salad was excellent, the main entre unfortunately had no flavor, my wife and I ordered the Fettuccini with chicken, the cream sauce tasted like plain unsalted cream with unsalted butter added and the chicken was also very bland, if you have some fresh parmesan it can be saved by adding that for some flavor. Previously we also had a Crème Brule that was also not up to par as well so our last two rounds have not been what we have experienced previously from this restaurant. On a good note the main entre portion size was enough for two people so the serving portion is more then enough and I hope we have better luck with future entrees. Price is very reasonable for a three course take out dinner unfortunately it was disappointing overall. We don't go out to eat often these days so sorry this was not better and I recommend you steer clear of the fettuccini unless they fix this problem.
Some good some not so good. For starters the ambiance is super lovely, cozy and romantic. Great place for a date, a quiet dinner a deux or just friends catching up. Service is attentive and speedy, nice waitstaff that is trained to upsell. Food is average. We had the osso bucco which was good but nothing special, we also had the bisque which IMHO fell short. The creamy soup has zero seafood flavor, it tasted exactly like Maggi cream of mushroom soup and I'm pretty sure that's what it was. I was told it would have lobster chunks, clams, etc, but it had none of those things nor did it taste like it. However the dessert is where they shine. The dessert was exceptional in presentation as well as execution. I would go back for dessert and a drink for sure. Tiny little place, quaint and cute, I might not think of it for good Italian food but I would still recommend it for atmosphere and desserts.
Best dining experience of 2021! Delicious food, great service and wonderful intimate atmosphere. Our waiter was fantastic and would have happily described every dish on the menu which we enjoyed overhearing at the other tables. When my husband didnt see what he wanted on the menu, he described what he was craving and the waiter immediately responded with a dish they could make to satisfy his palette . It was spot on and he was very happy. We opted to split a baked pear salad for a starter and were surprised at the generous portion. At the servers recommendation I went with filet and gnocchi. The sauce was divine and I relished each bite with the tender strips of beef. The entree portions were also generous with each of us taking home about half which was thoroughly enjoyed again in New Years Eve. Lastly we topped it off with lemon sorbet beautifully served with fresh fruit drizzled in chocolate delivered with much aplomb with a sparkler lighting up our table. So to sum it up, go and enjoy a fabulous meal while being attended to by a staff devoted to an excellent experience. And dont be afraid to ask for recommendations or something off menu.
