Very nice library, but if you think you can go to The Topeka Public Library and get help using their computers, or get answers on how to do something in a letter or document, you can't. I called first before going to this library and I told them I was having trouble saving a document I typed in Word that I had saved to my Google drive on my IPad. I wanted to save it as a .pdf file and email it to someone. I also needed help with how to make attachments to it. They told me this on the phone before I went there, "Absolutely, I can help you, and if I'm busy there are several other library staff who know how to do this too". I got there 45 minutes later, I live in Auburn. When I got there, the person I talked to on the phone said she was assigned to the "Blue Room" and couldn't help me. Great!! She referred me to someone who could help me. Once I opened my document on their computer & explained what I needed, she said, "Sorry can't help you with that, plus I'm off for the day now". Wonderful!! Staff member #3 said "hold on, I'll help you in a few minutes". So while I waited, I typed two additional paragraphs and added them to my letter. Staff member #3 then said she knew nothing about IPads where I created my document. At least she was trying, but all this took so long, my computer shut down (2 hours expired), and I lost all my additions to my letter that day. You only get two hours to use their computers and that's not very long when you need to do a business project.
Great as far as libraries go. The manager in the boutique could use a cup of friendly tho for sure
