Sis & I were there in Jan2014. Very disappointed. Just not a spa, not at all. Yelp reviewer called it "as if a loopy relative giving you a massage" Very accurate except the price! Loopy relatives don't charge full price for a goofy massage. 1st impression: not clean, not quiet, unprofessional and a bit creepy in a Hemp kind a way. Old paint can in the reception area. Tip: Dear Spa; put away your supplies. We could see into storage room because no one bothered to close the curtain. Curtain, not a door, really? The front room chairs were uncomfortable, thrift story finds? While we waiting, staff kept running by and forth, it's a tiny place. Wow, it's hard to relax when you're in the middle of Grand-Central-Station at rush hour. The Massage finally comes: The windows seemed to have bed sheets tacked up instead of professional window coverings, letting outside light into the treatment rooms. The massage table was flimsy, maybe a portable? The music was a weird chant of some sort. The massage was supposed to be deep tissue but was weak, causal, and almost vacant. And full price, oh goody! Also had a Tibet Foot Massage. Nope, don't bother. Bowl of hot water and rocks. And finally Hand Paraffin wax. No don't! They took the wax off of us and put it back in the melted wax pot. They casually mention, the kids play with it. Oh, shudder! Not clean, not quiet, unprofessional, all at full price.

Although it has been SOOO LONG since I have been to cote d'azure spa, it had left a lasting impression on me. I left there feeling completely balanced and relaxed, in every way with just one of their sessions and plan to make another trip down there very soon.....:-)
