False negative error messages since weeks, multiple times per day and tech support is not able to help. Really annoying. If you expect reliability: select a different service, dropbox is not able to deliver.
Leaving this review for DropBox's utter lack of customer service. If you no longer have access to the email address used to create your account, there is NO way to reach a person to assist you. This is unacceptable.
Went to a user research event here and the atmosphere was relaxed and everyone (workers) seemed happy, great building, great interior design and esthetic, 2 or so blocks away from Caltrain station, and the neighborhood seems to be kept up, although there are some stragglers (I was assaulted by a woman that threw a handful of crackers at my face).
The marketing technique and lack of support are my main beef. The product works well and someone I work with set up a drop box account for clients to share information. Now, everyone is getting notices that their storage limits have been reached. The confusion comes when someone attempts to delete something to free up storage. The message is that deleting something will delete it for everyone and from ALL DEVICES. The message is rather alarming and ambiguous. NO meaningful explanation of what will really happen is available.
