We were sadly disappointed with our overall experience. My husband and I eloped, just the two of us.While the staff was great about our mail in marriage license and overall responses, the day was a total disappointment. Our location on key biscane was changed last minute, and my husband and I were rushing around in an area we have never been to in the heat trying to find our location. Once we found them, we noticed people were tanning extremely close to our setup. We were not told that even though we had a permit, that we would have bare minimum privacy. It was extremely distracting as they sat there watching and talking. Had I known this, I probably would have picked a different location. What truly was hands down the most disappointing factor was our photography and my hair and makeup. I had asked the name of the person who was doing my hair and makeup so I could look them up and see what type of work they do. If I didnt like it, I would have tried to find someone else. I was only provided a first name, which was no help. I showed my stylist several photos of what I wanted and truly got the exact opposite. I tried to fix my makeup myself but I had only a few minutes as everything was on a strict schedule. I wish I had done my own hair and makeup for the service I was provided. As for the photography I wish we were shown the photos as we went. So many were zoomed in, not timed well, and unflattering. Part of me hates the photos due to my issue with the hair and makeup. We took award prom looking photos, and had been told several photos would have certain things edited out such as a no diving sign and excess seaweed. That was never done. We paid for the most expensive package hoping to have countless beautiful photos. My husband and I only liked around 5 of our 100+ wedding photos. All the others sit in a box in our attic because they are awful. We spent a lot of money on that to never see the light of day. We plan to do a five year vow renewal like a full wedding in NJ due to this experience. Everything happens for a reason! It seems that those who have guests attend their wedding through this company tend to have the best service. It seems like many people loved how their day went with SMW but sadly we did not.

My wife and I were in need of help planing and coordinating a micro wedding. We turned to the Small Miami Weddings (SMW) team and we are very grateful we did. From our introduction to our wedding day conclusion, our experience with SMW was great. Everyone was very professional, transparent, flexible, responsive, and timely. SMW, helped coordinate our ceremony at Vizcaya and it went perfectly. Our photos even came out perfect, and we cant wait to share them with our friends and family. We used Small Miami weddings as we eloped from Texas. Our ceremony was beautifully written and performed by Melissa-who was also replied rapidly with all our questions after she provided us with so much detailed information on license,venue(Fairchild Garden), restruants, transportation, hotel,cake and etc. Our package also included the photographer who I feel captured the best of our day. Our experience with Small Miami Weddings was beyond a dream come true. We decided to elope to Miami for our 10year Anniversary and after researching several options it was obvious that SMW the company to go with and we were not disappointed. All communication was professional and response times were almost immediate. We kept it simple with just us at Crandon Park but it felt anything but simple. Gen and Melissa talked us through everything and helped to calm our nerves before the ceremony. Even though they perform these ceremonies countless times it felt intimate and personal and made our day special, they treated us like old friends. I can not rave enough about this team.
