I definitely told you we could get your brakes bled that day. When you rolled the bike in I was on the phone with another customer and didnt realize Andy had told you something different until I got off the call. Youre correct that you caught us on a bad day trying to keep up with unrelenting demand for service has run us both a little thin on humor lately and were sorry you were affected by the pressure were experiencing. We know as shop owners that its our job to never let the customer see us sweat. Please accept our apologies for the mixed response to the brake job and the less than stellar customer service experience.

Came in on a Sunday after breaking a spoke. The owners were in and able to repair my spoke for a great price and super quick. Will definitely be back for service in the future. Came back in recently 8/6/2020 to get a brake bleed done. Was told by the woman working there they could have it done that day no problem. Brought my bike in and waited 5 mins only to be greeted by Grumpy Andy. He asked what I needed and after telling him he said "nope not doing that today..don't have time for that". Maybe I caught him on an off day but bleeding brakes takes 15 mins..your a new bike shop..take the business and good word of mouth and get it done. The COVID pandemic keeping bike shops busy will only last so long. With the attitude this guy gives this business wont survive. I won't be back here anymore.

Hey Eric, we appreciate you wanting to support a local shop. First you called us to see if we could work on your newly purchased used bike and Diane told you we'd be happy to help but that we're about a week out on service. Shortly after, you brought your bike in and talked to Andy about having him look at the bike. Andy told you the same thing, that we'd be happy to work with you but it would be about a week before we could get to it. Telling you something you don't want to hear isn't rude - it may be disappointing - but it's not rude. Please understand it's spring, the weather is beautiful and ALL bike shops are backlogged with work, many with longer wait times than Spokey Joe's. We're all working hard trying to get our Boise friends and neighbors back out on their bikes as quickly as we can.

Brought my bike in to Spokey Joe's specifically to support a relatively new local business. Andy was short and rude. Very disappointed to have this interaction here. Edit:I guess I should've been more descriptive in my original review with my interaction that led me to leave a bad review: Diane told me there was a week wait to work on the bike - she also told me I could bring the bike in, describe the problem and see if there was a need to leave it there to have it worked on. Andy cut me off in the middle of me describing the issue saying he's 'everyone's best friend right now, wanting me to work on their bikes, but I've got 20 bikes to get to before yours' - rude and short. I'm happy you are seeing business and hope you continue to do well, but I will be advising friends and family to take their business elsewhere based on my experience here.

Andy and Diane are amazing! They were extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. They are also very friendly and knowledgeable. The kids had a lot of fun picking out bikes. Thank you for all of your help. Will will definitely be recommending you guys!

I found Spokey Joe's by searching for a bike shop in south east Boise. Maintenance of my ride has never been a strong point of mine. When I went in it was Saturday and busy, but he took the time to see what I had and to recommend what I should do. He had it done by COB that day. I was impressed so I took some more deferred maintenance in the next day. He fixed me up while I waited and my bike runs awesome. When I get tired of fixing my old bike, I will buy from him, and I'd highly recommend this shop for knowledgeable, friendly and great service.
