Mr. Briscoe, I value a parent who is an advocate for his or her adult child. However, there appears to have been some level of miscommunication. I spent almost 25-30 minutes discussing the patients history, concerns and request. We discussed recent studies and treatments. We discussed my recommendation providing my rationale at least 3 times. Your daughter desired to go in a different direction. In a case such as this, I suggested a second opinion. In the meantime, previous records were ordered and additional testing was ordered. Abdominal exam was performed with precautions given to call if her clinical status changes. Gynecologic management decisions can be complex and require consideration beyond 1 encounter. It is also important not to perform unnecessary procedures no matter how strongly someone feels that they should be done. I always have my patients best interests in mind. As always, I am open to further conversation if desired. I welcome continued discussion via phone, telehealth or in-person.

Very unprofessional. My daughter did not even get an examination after asking for an ultrasound. She's had vaginal problems and a possible cyst. Dr told her that she should probably get a second opinion cuz "she looks okay to her."
Dr Lane Delievered 2 of my babies both being very high risk. While at christ hospital I was always treated with the utmost respect. When she decided to open her own I was estatic. I know she deserves it. # Tiff
