Do NOT waste your time or money. The resume writers do not follow the process Devex outlines when you buy the service. The service also does not include things like ATS testing, which is standard for other writing services that are half the price. Also, the writers do NOT care about your resume's ability to pick up traction (it's not like you would want that if you resorted to paying for a service - sarcasm). This is what the Devex "resume writer" responded with when I expressed concerns about it, not to mention there were TONS of typos. "Wordiness is definitely in the eyes of the beholder, and I always keep clients on the right side of the fine line that separates arrogance from knowledge of self-worth. And as I have shared freely and frankly for years, if a recruiter or hiring authority is unwilling to spend a few meaningful minutes with a candidate's CV, then they are in the wrong job. People are one of an organization's biggest investments, and worth a bit of time to get it right." Lawyers, coaches, and recruiters ALL found the general readability of the writer's version of my resume poor as they struggled to understand what her wordiness was trying to convey.
