Recently had a bedroom carpet fitted by Fab Flooring. Carpet good but fitter was clumsy and broke bed. Not happy with Fab Flooring customer service when problem was reported to them.

When Fab flooring came out to survey our floor for a Karndean floor, they told us that the sub floor laid by our builder was fine and that the self levelling compound that they would lay underneath the Karndean would level the floor out. We now have a very uneven floor, which makes the kitchen furniture wobble. Customer service was terrible, beyond belief. I would not recommend. UPDATE - Karndean offered to do a technical report, which they sent to Fab Flooring to send to us. Fab Flooring did not want us to see the report so Karndean changed the report so it would be in Fab Floorings favour. Here is a photo of the floor that both Fab Flooring and Karndean think is of an acceptable standard, showing uneven waves across the floor.

After seeing the wonderful job that Fab Flooring did to fit Karndean throughout my parents house, I requested a quote for Karndean flooring throughout my own house. From survey to fitting, Fab Flooring showed great attention to detail . Fab Flooring are very friendly ,professional and value for money .

Very happy to share our thoughts on the excellent service we received from Fab Flooring, Shefford. We didn't need to visit the showroom as we knew that we wanted Karndean flooring to match that already down in an adjacent room. Richard, the proprietor, visited us initially to give an estimate. Of the three flooring contractors that we had come to quote, he was the only one who measured the humidity in the newly laid screed to gauge when would be dry enough for this flooring. Although their quote was not the cheapest, Richard's professional approach gave us the confidence that we would not be disappointed with Fab Flooring. The communication from their office regarding the quote and fitting dates was also very professional but equally very friendly and helpful. John, the fitter, came exactly when promised and was fantastic. He was again professional and knowledgable but very friendly and did an excellent job fitting our new flooring, working solidly from the moment he arrived until it was all fitted and looking fantastic. Thank you to Fab Flooring for a stress free and very satisfactory experience. Highly recommended.
