I think you may have the wrong office! I know we live in a time where political division is at an all time high, but we do not allow our political views and beliefs change the way we care for our patients. I encourage you to call our office manager at 727-819-0440 to hopefully clear this up.

Sorry about the inconvenience. I understand the frustration, and this was not an easy decision for us because we know many offices have needed to do the same. We did send out a email to all of our patients in the beginning of the year explaining that we could no longer stay providers for Simply. Unfortunately, sometimes our newsletters get thrown into spam. But whether we can accept more insurances or have to let go of certain insurances in the future, we will continue to provide the quality eye care that our patients expect from us. I've been going to this practice for over 10 years, since it was Mathews and Thomas. I scheduled my annual eye exam this week (April 19th, 22) and was just told today, April 21st, through text, that they would no longer be accepting my insurance (Simply through Medicaid) as of the first of the year. Advance notice would have been nice! I would have made sure to switch to an insurance they will accept while open enrollment was still open. But don't worry because you can still pay out of pocket! I gave two stars because Dr. Mathews is great (he's the one I've been seeing since Dr. Thomas left). Edit: You have time to be on Google, you have time to send me my medical files that I requested.
Great people! They were very nice and knowledgeable. Didn't rush through anything and welcomed all the questions I through at them. It was actually the best experience I have ever had at an eye doctors and I will definitely be recommending them!

Unprofessional. They charged for a service my daughter did not receive. Always ask for an invoice if you come here to make sure you're not being ripped off. Mistakes happen but when I confronted the front desk, the lady grabbed my paper and crumpled it up without acknowledging their mistake or apologizing.
