I agree with the previous reviewer that the owner's blog does not provide the services it claims to, and perhaps even constitutes misrepresentation or fraud. I'm a registered user of the blog and get the emails, but the blog never recognizes me as a registered user, even when I click a link to the blog from a user-subscriber email. This creates a lot of functional limitations when using the blog. Why would I pay extra when the blog doesn't even work to begin with? If this is not frustrating enough, no one from Mr. Attig's office has ever responded to my inquiries. Not to inquiries about the blog, and not to multiple inquiries to his law firm for legal representation in an appeal. Even worse however is that the owner uses the blog as an advertising platform for his business, under the guise of being a good-guy who advocates for Veterans. But there is nothing on this blog that is not somehow tied to a paid service or product, even though the blog is listed as a separate entity from the law firm. There is nothing wrong with making money for legal services rendered, but the owner says that the purpose of the blog is to fight for underdog Veterans in their battles with the VA, whether or not they have hired legal representation or not. Well, Mr. Attig, perhaps you are unaware that many Veterans are destitute and homeless due to the severity of their service-related disabilities. This means the Veterans at the most risk and in the most need of your blog have no money to fight the VA with, or to buy products and services aside from hiring an appeals attorney on contingency, which you already get paid handsomely for in court-awarded attorneys fees. That way you often get paid even if the Veteran doesn't get paid a dime for their disabilities. In fact, most Veterans and VSO's know the grim reality of destitute, suffering, disabled Veterans and acknowledge it, thus they offer volunteer and philanthropic services to assist Veterans who fall through the cracks, who are at the most risk and in the most need. So blog users and potential clients beware: This guy is not a big-hearted Veterans advocate as he claims to be, at least not in the sense that you are accustomed to. He is strictly a gun for hire, if you can ever get a response from his office at all. So, if your disabilities are severe, and you need real help from someone who really cares, take a pass on this guy. Find yourself a good VSO who knows Veterans law, or find an attorney who is straight up with you about who they are and what kind of services they are offering. Most reputable law firms offer philanthropic services which are distinct from their paid services.
