Buyer beware!!! This company does not treat it's employees decently! There is no loyalty to employees that have been there for years and work hard. Upper management needs to be replaced to get this place actually producing top quality products again. Unfortunately, until they do, they will continue to put out subpar windows and doors to get their orders processed, but the quality will just continue to decline.

Homeowners call us on occasion asking that we manufacture our top of the line Entry Doors, Windows, Security and Aluminum Storm doors. Unfortunately, we are an original equipment manufacturer that sells directly to dealers that in turn sells to the homeowner. We as the manufacturer are not licensed to sell our samples to be used as a toy for reasons including the liability that we would incur should your child be injured do to a product that we produced, that is not intended to be used as a toy. Safety at Home Guard is our number one priority. Again, we at Home Guard Industries wish you the best.

I called today and requested a sample size door and offered to pay for it and Karen said they just couldnt do it because it cost them too much. If Im willing to pay for it why should the price matter. This was for my non mobile child with cerebral palsy who gets a ton of joy from doors. I also had called and spoke to someone in December hoping to get one by end of December 2021 for Christmas but was never called back. The lady today said no one recalls getting a request for that. Welp, sorry to tell you, but I called and spoke to a lady with a deeper voice more than once so it shouldnt have been a surprise I was calling to follow up. Its amazing how unwilling businesses can be. If Im offering to buy something, at least tell me the cost rather than suggesting I go to Lowes and buy a full size door and cut it down. Sure, that sounds reasonable; Ill get my saw and get right on that. We live in an affluent area with lots of new residential developments and I will not be recommending this company.

Great doors if you have them installed by a quality installer. Lifetime and beyond warranty by the manufacturer speaks for itself

Good company, beautiful doors. The hand-stained finish that they apply to their fiberglass and steel doors is hands down the best looking, most realistic finish I've ever seen. Can't tell that its not wood.

I was very excited to have doors installed, However the problems started on day one, windows were scratched and one of the doors "banged" when it was closed. After about 1 year of going back and forth I finally got this problem fixed. I thought I was done, However that winter I noticed that the doors were bowing, there was close to a 1/4 inch gap between where the door rested when the weather was warm and when the weather was cold (note I mean in the center of the doors there was no gap and it increased to close to a 1/4" as you go towards the corners) after another year of going back and forth they finally sent out a rep, who told me that was completely normal and I just needed a better grade of caulk. While telling me how great their doors were. I'm sorry but no caulk is going to fix a 1/4 in of movement and even if it did top of the line best in class doors should not need Caulk. In general stay away from this company and anyone who supplies them.
