Was a great place 7 yrs ago when we moved in. Then they pushed Mary the manager out and it's not the same. I have complained about new noisy neighbors, something Mary kept on top of, and Amy the co owner doesn't seem to care. Yes the new courtyard is nice but it doesn't make up for the quality of living when your neighbors invade your personal space with loud noise past the legal 10pm time slot and not a damn thing is done about enforcing lease agreement policies. So forward to looking for a home by this Fall!
I love this place! I lived here around 2005-6 and moved back in this year. Well kept building, neighbors who are generally quiet and the grounds are nice. Only two things I'd change is the rent is a little higher than I would like and it doesn't have central air. Great location though.
This is one of the last affordable apartments in the heart of North East. As newer fancier apartments keep popping up, cost of rent is sky-rocketing. Stonehouse Square remains affordable, with offerings like large sq. footage, good amenities, and charm. The management is easy to communicate with and any maintenance requests get addressed very quickly! Stonehouse Square has lovely common places, both inside and outside. The neighbors are lovely and actually make small talk in the elevators. Overall, I've loved living here for the last 8 months and look forward to the months to come!
