Genna In 8 years of business, I can not think of a time where I have fundamentally let a customer down in the way I have you. Yes we advised that prying a broken screen may damage it further, Yes we replaced the microphone as you said that it wasnt working, not knowing it was the other microphone. We ordered that part and it came and it sat whilst I was away from the business for a couple of weeks. No excuses. We are sorry on this one.

Im not one for leaving bad reviews because I believe they dont always convey the full picture of the situation however, sometimes its only fair for people to make an informed decision based on a particular experience that may resonate. I took my iPhone in to get the rear screen replaced; it unfortunately came back a couple of days later with the microphone not working and subsequently went back a couple times to get reinspected and after some miscommunication I was told the part needed was being ordered and told to come in a couple of days later when the order should land but when I called in I was told the order hasnt arrived and told I would be phoned. I was never gotten back to. In addition to this my front phone screen was broken in the process of repairing my rear phone screen (not once but twice) during the issue with the microphone. To quote Cumbria tech you have to break eggs to make an omelette I accepted the extra damage as a variable that was out of his control during the repair of the microphone. On reflection however, since I left with more issues than I originally went in for ie; microphone fault; a dark glue mark on the rear screen (replaced by cumbria tech) appeared retrospectively, then further cracks in my front screen from come backs and nor was I contacted at all in the end to rectify the come back - I am afraid Ive felt compelled to share my experience. Phone has since been fixed elsewhere (a place I have used in the past), front and rear screens, microphone and the horrible dark mark on the rear has now gone. All within a couple hours.

We do replace screens that have quality issues and do offer a lifetime warranty upon them. We carry out a full assessment of your phones pre-repair and take images of damage that has been caused to the phone (both to cover you and us for future claims). We have since you edited this invested further into diagnostic software that highlights issues with devices when these are brought to us and can offer a report to clients. This damage when the phone was brought back to us wasnt there when we carried out the original repair and in our opinion was the reason why the screen display wasnt working. We dont as in line with company policy warranty accidental damage though do offer a loyalty scheme which part of the many benefits to our customers is a discounted half price screen replacement if the same issue occurs within a 6 month period of the original repair which we did offer your good self when you returned the phone to us.

Im sorry to have to edit this review. About a week or so after I had my screen and battery replaced, my phones new LCD panel stopped displaying things, leaving me without a phone again. I brought it back and was told that I had dropped the phone and that I had caused damage to the display. The display is in mint condition with a screen protector on it and is in a case so I was confused. They said they had taken photos of the phone before the repair and that these photos proved the supposed damage had taken place after the repair. I asked to see the photos to verify their claim as I couldnt see what could have caused an entire LCD panel to stop working but they refused to show me the photos, saying "they are my photos". This review isnt being edited to cause distress or dissent towards the company in question. Im simply stating the facts of my experience so that others can be aware. (I was offered the chance to pay 110 to have it replaced again but I cant afford to pay for another screen replacement if its going to break again and Im accused of breaking it again).
Sent my phone off Wednesday received the device back Friday morning. Fantastic turn around and repair. If I had gone with Samsung I would of lost all data I never backed so I kept everything. The price was quite expensive I found but overall service truly satisified
Sent iPad 2 with damaged screen in for repair, still worked so just cosmetic.Was quoted a 2 hour repair 6 days later picked up and the screen was replaced but the power and volumes keys now don't work at all. Only thing I got back was 'you will just have to use the assistive touch to turn off the screen or change volume' . Updates through whole process were very sketchy and made me feel as though something was going to be wrong with it when I collected it, I wasn't told prior to collection that anything was wrong with it. I am very disappointed because I read through lots of reviews before deciding where to take it for the repair and I am now no better off than before the 'fix' !!!
