I only gives this breeder a 3 star as I do believe this breeder breeds "healthy" dogs. The healthy is qualified as I don't know what the definition of healthy is. My little puppy Mackie was a true runt from birth weight to delivery weight. Before committing to Mackie, I told the breeder that I was a first-time dog adopter, on a fixed income and how concern I was with Mackie small weight. Mackie would have been the last puppy to match with me. This breeder kept saying she eats as much as she wants to eat and is a "healthy" dog. A 5-star breeder (per some YouTube research later on) would have done a bit more work (special feeding, etc.) to ensure the puppy gains weight prior to 8-week delivery. As the result, my little labradoodle came to me very small. From day 1, she had staph infection due to compromised immune system. I did not know that she had staph infection until a visit to the vet. Her lower immune system continued to be a problem for a few months (several more visits to the vet) until the she gained more weight. Mackie also had unexpected behavior problems (excessive biting, potty training). When I called and complained, their answer was I could return her if I was not satisfied. While this seems reasonable for some owners, most of us would not have the heart to return our loved ones. In my opinion, Whispering Winds would easily become a 5-star breeder is they focus more on matching the puppies to the right owners instead of trying to place/sell the puppies ASAP. They are a big business in Whatcom County. If you want a more compassionate breeder, Aladdin in my opinion seems better at matching owner to puppies. By the way, Whispering Winds spayed/neutered all the puppies at 8 weeks prior to delivery. They seem to think it is a great benefit to the owners. The have a point. However, don't put in a $500 non-refundable deposit if you don't agree with what the breeder does. I called several vets around here and they firmly do not support spay/neuter this early. At least 6 months of age they say due to potential long-term health of the dogs. So, this practice is totally an economic/business one. If I had known this before committing the non-refundable deposit, I would go to other breeders. When discovering the issue, I specifically had Whispering Winds not spayed my puppy. At least they agreed, with the caveat with I send them the spayed certificate later. So, my experience has not been a great one with Whispering Winds. I do believe they breed "healthy" dogs, but watch out for runt puppies unless you are preparing to put in extra work. I recommend getting the regular size puppies. Mackie is now healthy (I hope), still has some behavior problems, but she is a beloved part of my family. So, no way can I ever return her to Whispering Winds.

Extremely unprofessional! They have several law suits pending, Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere!!! Heather Atzert finlayson is the breeder.
Good Dog took the stress out of finding a reputable breeder online. I was able to get in touch with a breeder that was able to walk me through the process and find my pup. Highly recommend them if you're looking to adopt a pure bred pup.
This is an amazing website that does a lot of the hard work of finding a responsible breeder for you. They connected us with several great breeders and helped us find a new member of our family that will be a delight for years to come. Having had a bad experience previously with a not-so-good breeder, it gives me great peace of mind to know that some of the screening has already been done to make sure we get a dog that is the right fit for us and for them.

Bonze Boston terriers delivered a sick puppy and now hes in hospital with a minimum $3500 bill. Pup was sick when deliver breeders deny it. Definitely would not recommend them or anything on this site.
