I normally love this gym, but the last class I went to was too strenuous on my shoulders. I ended up going to the doctor a few days after, and now have a severe rotator cuff tear. I love onnit classes for pushing myself to my limit, but maybe more emphasis should be put on preventing injuries during class.
Joining Onnit when I moved to Austin has been one of the best decisions Ive ever made. I was initially a bit scared to join because everyone seemed so fit (and I was definitely not in shape when I joined), but every coach and member was so friendly and welcoming and encouraging. I love Onnit because all I need to do is show up, and I know I will see results and no longer need to spend a ton of time programming my own workouts and wondering if Im doing things right. If youre looking for not only amazing facilities, but an incredible and supportive community, Onnit is the place to be!
Started in 2015 when this gym opened and I've loved it ever since. I've tried other gyms in other places but nothing like Onnit. I really love how we always concentrate in every aspect of working out, not just the workout. Try it out you will love it. For the women out there that feel intimidated to come workout, don't. There's a lot of different levels and you can start at any level. Coaches make it easy for everyone to learn and get your workout on.
First time free training with a small class at Onnit! I decided to check it out after meeting Aubrey Marcus at a Keto event. My instructor was very helpful and taught me how to lift dumbbells properly. A membership is about $300 per month. Heres a few of my favorite photos from the gym.
