As a first time home owner, I am not a big fan nor do I recommend them. We just bought a house a month and half ago and we wanted to keep the same propane providers but after we got our safety check up it appeared that they were charging us for a 200 and something gallons instead of the 28 gallon that they provide. In addition, we found a problem with an existing tank but they were not responsive. The person who is supposed to take care of this wouldnt call me back to find a solution for that. I would not recommend it.
Andy, our back office system predicts when customers on automatic delivery require a refill based on temperature and individual characteristics of their home. You had called on 1/26 requesting a delivery before the weekend storm. Your tank was reading 30% at the time. That is more than enough product to get you through a few weeks based on your normal usage. We often have to prioritize during times leading up to storms to get to the most critical customers who need deliveries. Because of that, we had to make the decision to do your delivery the following week. Today your tank is still at more than 20%. We have your delivery scheduled for Friday 2/4/2022 unless there is some weather event or emergency that prevents that exact date for deliver.

They will run you empty. Service nonexistent. This is the worst provider of fuel by far. They will flat out lie to you that a delivery is coming then not deliver. If you call the office, they will put you on hold, then disconnect. Whoever runs this abomination is just laughing at the customers.

Hocon is very disorganized, which is not unusual in this business. The gas shows up fine but the billing is inaccurate and unreliable. Get everything in writing because they are not capable of following through with what is said on the phone. Three months later I'm still being charged late fees for an accidental bill generated in November that I was told would be removed in December. I'm really tired of making phone calls.
