Took my head in in the fall to have the valves replaced along with the stem seals. Installed the head back on and went to start the car and it did not have compression in any of the cylinders. Winter weather was starting to come in so I decided to leave the car like that until spring. Now I've taken the head off again to see what is wrong and valves are not seated properly. Of course it wasn't going to have compression.

Hi Todd, we apologies for the inconvenience. Our hours are posted as closed Fri, Sat, Sun. If you called we would have told you its appointment only. Nevertheless we have been here till 6pm the last 3 Fridays so I think you are mistaken... Next time I would call the business BEFORE you take a 400 mile trip on a Friday so they can accommodate you. Anyhow, thankyou for saving us your hassle and the unnecessary review.

Buena, your entire claim is incorrect! every head quote starts at $165 (we dont spend your money unless you know about it). I gave you a price range so if we found any issues you would have an idea of cost. You needed a "valve job" on top of disassembly, cleaning, resurfacing and seals. I called and quoted you $401 out the door for a head job less valve guide replacement. After a week of not hearing from you, (we will not do the work unless approved) you called and declined the work (you found a "new" head on ebay for cheap). You came into my shop wanting to argue about pricing and the work needed. I'm sorry you don't understand the difference between valve stem seals and a valve job. My partner and I tried to explain everything in detail and you didn't want to hear it, you just talked over and down to us. we disassembled, cleaned, inspected and measured the head and components. There was a fee of $100+tax for the disassembly, cleaning and inspection. You didn't like that and said we were criminals and didn't do anything to charge you for. We are sorry you had a bad experience.

if you don't want to lose your money, don't do business with this thief, he told me he was going to fix a cylinder head for $150, then $200 and in the end he wanted to charge me 430, when I asked for my part back he told me I had to pay a fee $150 for a "cleaning" fee avoid this business of this malnourished, he is a tremendous scammer
