The place is okay. The coffee is decent (definitely not amazing) - yet not worth the higher than Starbucks prices, but probably the biggest concern I have is the fully exposed food. One accidental sneeze and it's all over the ingredients they use for every dish, not to mention dust and everything else. This is really unhygienic, and to be avoided. The staff was nice and the bathroom clean. They also seem to be selling some prepackaged ingredients in here.

Very disappointing experience! I was not greeted upon walking in, I sat down for 10 mins while nobody approached me to say hello or ask me if I'd like a drink or to order food. I left without ordering, as customer service is very important to me, it's not just about having good food, which unfortunately I never got round to trying. I won't be going there again.

The owner and his staff are so lovely! Excellent coffe (from an ex batista) great sandwiches. I have become a regular as the service is so welcoming and friendly. Talk to these guys and you will quickly make friends, a breath of fresh air to Hackney <3

Sometimes this beast goes vegetarian. the veggie stuff in here are very impressive at decent prices . Great coffee too . This beast will keep coming back
