Bought an XC90 a couple months ago from a salesman who's customer service was so unforgettable that we forgot his name. Honestly, I hope that he does not currently still work for Volvo of Rockville. We had issues with our 2016 SUV with 30,000 miles so we wanted to trade into a reliable 3 row SUV. We went and test drove the XC90, and the next day we came back to purchase about an hour and a half before closing. The salesman felt we couldn't afford the vehicle, reason being that we were black. 5 minutes into the test drive he called me asking where we were with the vehicle and not even asking for feedback. He also asked if we wanted to buy the vehicle the next day since they were an hour away from closing. He had no product knowledge whatsoever, to the point where he was looking up Volvo XC90 information on wikipedia in front of us. After we decided on the vehicle and agreed upon terms he DID NOT have the vehicle detailed or filled with gas, reason being he didnt think we had the means to purchase the vehicle. Both of my parents had 750+ credit scores, as soon as that came to light, he acted a bit embarrassed because his sales managers wanted to do the deal that night but he wanted us to come back the next day. After we bought the car we NEVER heard back from the salesman. The only reason I am sharing this is to help the next customer out who drives an hour to them because they have a really strong reputation, have a salesman already in mind who works there.

Called in spoke w/NaNa who assured me he was sending a buyers order via email & text. After waiting 48hrs called in, states he will resend. Called yet again, spoke w/sean (manager) who informed me the car had been delivered & sold. Beware! They are not forthcoming with precise information.

Daniel the Sales Manager, Paola our Sales Consultant, and Mark in Finance made out entire experience easy, pressure free, and worked with us to find the Volvo we wanted at at a fair price. We also had a great experience with the parts counter personnel as well as service for some accessories installation. I would rate them 5 stars for the extra effort they provided in all these areas! Highly recommend if you are in the market for a Volvo!

We bought a car for my daughter on 3/30/22 from Darcars Volvo. On 4/24 the check engine light came on. We called Darcars service dept and made an appointment for that Wednesday4/27/22 with Jimmy Wong for the 2012 Hyundai Sonata hybrid. On the way to the service appointment, my daughter's cars stopped working and died 12 miles away from Darcars. My husband called and spoke with Kevin, the sales manager, and he advised us to get the car there by tow cost to us of course. When my daughter arrived, Jimmy the service manager advised they will not be able to look at the car today. Leave it he said and will get to tomorrow. Kevin then tells my daughter he would get her a loaner car, since we just purchased a car on 3/30/22. Kevin then says nope we can't do it. I then spoke to Alexander the general manager who said " I don't know why you bought the car here, there is nothing we can do for you." I asked again about the car we purchased on 3/20/22 that had died and was towed to your shop advised by your sales manager Kevin, Alexander then said " We don't even service that kind of car". I asked them why they made an appointment for service. Alexander then told me to get out of his business because he is not going back & forth with me. Why ???We trusted our business with you less than a month ago, and now you're telling me to get out. I am reporting this to BBB and sending to all TV stations in Maryland so this won't happen to anyone else. They are not helping us at all. This is not fair. We are stuck with a lemon BUYER BEWARE!!!!
