Last month (June 2019) my family bought a Graceland shed from East Carolina Unlimited LLC of Ahoskie NC. At the time of sale, we were told that the shed was within the limit of square feet and did not need a permit in order to place the shed on our land. East Coast Unlimited LLC of Ahoskie NC delivered the shed and set it up on our property in Gates County, according to local code (with tie downs, etc). Unfortunately, because of this erroneous information regarding the permit (IE...that we didn't need one), we have now been charged $100 "Negligence Fee" for setting up a permanent structure on our property without a permit. BE VERY CAUTIOUS WHEN SCOUNDREL SALESMEN TRY TO SELL YOU SOMETHING JUST TO MAKE A SALE!!!! AND THEN BLAME IT ON THEIR BOSS (WHO IS A RELATIVE OF THEIRS) FOR THE ERRONEOUS INFORMATION!!! TIME TO CONTACT THE BBB!
