For camping this place is great. As an RV park the spaces are tiny & very close to each other. It's essentially a parking lot. Restrooms are spotless. Pool looks lovely.
Be careful, very bad service ! I accidently booked online a tent site for a wrong date. But I didn't only book a site online, I had also several exchanges to book a precise site (by writing the good dates) and like me they didn't realize the mistake. But error is human ! When I realized the mistake, it was too late and their handling of my problem was just rigid, impersonal (I didn't even know who I am writing with...) and late. They never helped me to book another site on the good date and I noticed that they raised their prices. I will not be staying at Saddle Mountain Ranch anymore, it's about principle. They have an absolute lack of human consideration and they take their customers just for wallets ! Stay away !!
Hi Maria, Thank you so much for such a wonderful review and for taking the time to write. Yes, the road is narrow that is why we have RV check in and checkout times far apart to ensure none of our guests have issues when driving in or leaving our park. Further, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and would love to host you again! We have additional restroom facilities throughout our campground. 2 additional showers and 8 additional stalls by the pool as well as 2 additional showers and restroom stalls in the upper area of our campground. Looking forward to your stay with us again! :)

Gorgeous view! There's a pool, sauna, playground for the kiddos, basketball, corn-hole, & more. They have everything set up so perfect. Now for the RV part its a bit tricky. First of all its scary going up a narrow 1way road. So your hoping youre the only one with the RV on the road. Also, the parking lot is where all the RVs go. I will say, it is extremely tight to backup the RV. Thankfully, We came in with a class C motor home & stayed in spot 16 which was easy to back into. We were right across the clean bathroom and shower. There's one stall for each gender. Also, they have a few fire pits throughout the park. I can't wait to come back to this RV park.
We camped here (actual tent, not the glamping set up). Good place for kids, they have a large swimming pool and kid play area. Great access the Carmel beaches and Big Sur.
My family stayed in the bunkhouse with the included gazebo tent. We had no issues with the bunkhouse, but during the night a mouse got into the tent. There is no way to completely seal the entrance, which leaves it vulnerable to rodents. I kept hearing noises in the middle of the night and thought I was going crazy (kept turning on my phone flashlight and couldn't see anything), but in the morning I discovered the lid on a bottle of vitamins had been chewed by a mouse in the middle of the night. I mentioned this at checkout and was told that of course they have mice in the campground because they are out in the country but that it would be mentioned to the maintenance man. This isn't a maintenance issue, it's a problem with the overall design of the tent. For the price we paid, I certainly would have expected a better experience than this.
