First, it took about four - six days for someone to reach out. (Not 24 hrs as advertised) Then; the colors chosen were way off the existing siding (we were working on an outside design). Seemed the designer just picked all of the Colors of the Year by Benjamin Moore and sent them over. Then, mid way I got a message I was reassigned a different designer but she said that was an accident with our app. Almost 20 days later and I still dont have a functioning design. Havenly is a great idea, but the internal functioning of the company is pretty bad.

My girlfriend worked there for a month. Being "on the review" period, (which they don't tell the clients about) quickly realized she was making in hourly terms .30 cents an hour (enraging slave labor!!). They sold the idea to her of being able to work whenever and just taking a few hours on each design. Reality was, she had to go back and forth with the clients whenever they changed their mind, making unpaid revisions to her designs until the client was completely happy, and having the pressure of deadlines everyday!!, and to top it off, pray the clients would make a purchase in order to get some money on commissions, and if the clients don't buy anything, they steal your design and go elsewhere to buy things at a cheaper price. However, she realized her 4 year Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and Architecture is worth waaaaay more than the less than $300 she made for that month. Use this services, you will supporting slave-kind labor....

Ive been using Havenlys services for two years and Im so grateful for them. It started with my living room. I was completely frustrated with how I was designing the space myself and I couldnt figure out how to utilize the space better. I decided to hire Havenly because I desperately needed interior design help. Havenly offers custom packages that are so affordable, ranging from Mini-Design to Full Design. We were matched with a professional interior designer via a style quiz. They worked with my budget to create a custom space to fit our needs. In the case of our living room, we needed a functional space that felt inviting and integrated a workspace. The designer first created a few ideas based on what I was looking to achieve. I let our designer know what I like and dont like and rated each idea board from a scale of 1-4 stars. Once we narrowed down all three idea boards to one, the designer created a 2D concept. The great thing about working with the designers at Havenly is that they will work with you and your design until you absolutely love it! I changed my concept three times until I was happy with the final design. Once I gave our designer the thumbs up with the 2D design, I received a cool 3D design and the list of items to shop the look. Havenly has partnerships with various retailers that I shop for my home, from Wayfair to West Elm to One Kings Lane, so the one-stop shop concept was super convenient. Just to be clear: youre not pressured into buying any of the items used in the design. We truly loved our newly designed living room! Our designer created the living room of our dreams that is functional, cozy, and luxurious! I also hired Havenly to redesign our master bedroom. Im still waiting for the final pieces I ordered from our list to arrive, but the bedroom is slowly coming together!

Proceed with caution! I ordered an item via Havenly with the expectation that it would be delivered in early December 2020 (incorrectly advertised during the checkout process). The ETA was initially changed to March 2021 and now its been pushed back again until May (and can be further delayed 30+ days). After requesting a refund, there has been very slow communication and the unwillingness to refund my money prior to talking to an unresponsive vendor (supposedly). The lack of efficient business processes, the inability to give an accurate ETA on an item they're selling, and the poor customer service gives them a 1-star in my book.
