Thank you Pamela for your post. It is important for The Ski Company to hear our customers opinions. The sign you are referring to identified a specific pant. The sign read $95 retail black pant for $29.99. On the opposite side of the rack were pants that did not match the sale sign description. The pant that you were interested in was not advertised as the $29.99 pant.

A sign was posted above the ski pants advertising them for 29.99. I was charged 72.00. After showing a manager the sign, she still refused to sell the pants at the advertised price. I was refunded my charge. Buyer beware when you go to purchae at this so called Super Sale. In response to the owner's comment below, she is misrepresenting the presentation of the sign. There was a double rack of ski pants and on each side of the rack was a notice stating that the pants below were listed for 29.99. Each side had it's own signage above it stating the specified sale price. I am an English teacher by profession and I know how to read. In addition, in the adult education program to which I've been employed, I've partnered with Consumer Education teachers. This is a clear examlpe of Bait and Switch. I will follow up with a letter to the Consumer Division with the New York State Attorney General's Office. In addition the fact that the owner whitied out the sign, after I had brought it to her attention, indicates the owner's acknowledgement that the sign did in fact list the pants at the sale price of 29.99. If I were in error, why change the sign?

Living out west..customer service needs to be improved. Very condescending ..they have a real attitude..Go online and buy..and you will get a better deal. Everytime I come home I go into the store,still arrogant as ever. Pushing expensive equipment..so obvious ..and then try to return..you are treated terrible.my suggestion to the owner is time to sell something else.

I just bought a pair of Fischer vacuum cf boots at The Ski Company. The sales person seemed very knowledgeable. Jim, who does the fitting was great to work with and spent over an hour with me making sure that my boots were fitted properly. He has been doing this for a long time and it is apparent that he has learned much from his experience.
